How is enterprise plan different

Estimated read time3 min

Private cloud

Cloud used by the enterprise belongs to the enterprise. This means that team m can enjoy administrator access

Multiple Docker containers

Strove runs Docker for you, allowing for consistent development. If you want to run Docker container inside Strove you'll effectively be running Docker in Docker, or Docker parallel to Docker. To make such feature work we would need to allow administrator access for each user and this introduces a whole subset of security issues. Enterprise version does not suffer from this limitation as all the containers belong to the same company, making it safe to provide host access in many cases. If this issue is interesting for you, we recommend reading this: https://jpetazzo.github.io/2015/09/03/do-not-use-docker-in-docker-for-ci/.

Custom specs

Traditional Strove has predefined specs (such as 5GB of RAM). Enteprise plan allows companies to choose their own spec
